Making difference is alot more then fighting to making it. It's fighting for something that will help others understand and agree that something; someone needs to help. Even if its just helping older people with their grosceries and house work. Your making a difference an that is letting someone know you care what happens in the country and the world.
A good way to make a difference is to help out the troops and their families; will their in Iraq fighting the war on Terror. Getting people in your neiborhood to donate toothpaste, soap, wet wips, toothbrush, coloring books, crayons, coats, notbooks, and other things that will help the troops. Every little bit counts; an it all makes a difference.
